These tours will appeal to singles and couples who prefer to travel in a small group and where itineraries provide balances among bazaars; museums; religious sites; enjoying cultural events and concerts; talking with students in a school; exploring restored forts and castles; seeing artists demonstrating their talents; visiting a modern, free-enterprise farm; meeting and talking with people in their homes, villages and in their gardens, and shopping.
On request, a visit to "your" village and/or to your relatives will be arranged.
Hotel accomodations: highly rated hotels, all with private bathrooms.
You will travel in an air-conditioned bus to places of interest in cities, towns, villages and the countryside where English speaking guides will provide interpretations.
You will visit: Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk in Halychyna; Yaremche, Verhkovyna and Bukovel in the Carpathian Mountains; Kolomeyia in Hutsulshchyna; Chernivtsi in Bukovyna; the forts at Kamienets-Podilsky and Khotyn; and the capital of Ukraine: Kyiv.

On the first day of each tour, most North-American tour-members meet in Toronto at the Departure Gate for Austrian Airlines.

RESERVATIONS - DEPOSITS - FINAL PAYMENTS:

Deposits are refundable up to 2 months before the date of the tour's departure.
FINAL PAYMENTS are due at least 2 months before the date of tour's departure.
On receipt of your deposit, you will receive an "Introduction to Ukraine", which includes the "Itinerary" , "Background Information" and "Travel Tips - Before Leaving".
On the first day of your tour, you will receive: "TRAVEL TIPS: On the way and in Ukraine"; the "DAILY ITINERARY"; MAPS; and "SING-A-LONG SONGS" with English translations.
